The St. Louis Cardinals announced on Friday (Feb. 25, 2020) that what was once known as “Homer’s Landing” is now “Freese’s Landing”.
The section just beyond centerfield, where David Freese hit his iconic Game 6 HR in the 2011 World Series, will now be it’s own special section of Busch Stadium. Tickets to Freese’s Landing will be available as all inclusive tickets that include an all-you-can-eat ballpark buffet, as well as complimentary beer & soda.
The newly named section is presented by local company, 1st Phorm. “As a St. Louis company, we are extremely excited to connect our brand to such an iconic moment and player in Cardinals history. And like David Freese, we are from St. Louis, and we are proud of it,” said 1st Phorm co-owner Sal Frisella.
To celebrate, there will be three selected Friday games where David Freese himself, Cardinals HOFer Tommy Herr and a TBD Cardinals HOFer will be on hand for an exclusive meet & greet/autograph session.
2011 World Series Champion David Freese is scheduled for (July 15), 1982 World Series Champion Tommy Herr is scheduled for (August 12), and the third special guest will be announced at a later date and is scheduled for (August 26).
Tickets for Freese’s Landing can be purchased individually or as a group and start as low as $59. Fans can purchase tickets and find more information at cardinals.com/allinclusive
